SH112C Automatic Kinematic Viscometer (Pinnault)

SH112C fully automatic Proctor kinematic viscometer is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids with the same accuracy, including crude oil, light fuel oil, lubricating oil, quenching oil, additives, and silicone oil, according to GB/T 265 and ASTM D445-2024 standards. It is also suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of samples with high wax content or samples containing insoluble components at room temperature.

Fully automatic constant temperature, viscosity testing, cleaning, and drying viscometer, no need for personnel to operate randomly. After the operator sets out, they can leave the site, and the instrument can automatically complete all tasks.

Kinematic viscosity: Determine the gravity flow under a certain volume model at a constant temperature, and use a calibrated glass capillary viscometer to measure the viscosity of the liquid. The constant of the capillary viscometer flows over time, and the kinematic temperature of the product is used to measure the viscosity of the liquid.

The working principle is to put the sample into the selected capillary viscometer, the capillary immersed in a constant temperature bath. The sample is inhaled to the calibration position. When the sample flows to the upper calibration position, the instrument starts to record the time. When the sample flows to the calibration position, the recording time stops. The instrument will automatically calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample.
