SH4507B Automatic Asphalt Softening Point Tester

The SH4507B automatic asphalt softening point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the industry standards JTG E20 "Test Code for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering" (T 0606 "Asphalt Softening Point Test (Global Method)" and GB/T 4507 "Determination of Softening Point of Petroleum Asphalt" of the People's Republic of China.

This instrument is suitable for measuring the softening point of various types of asphalt such as road petroleum asphalt, coal tar asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt, etc. It is the preferred instrument for asphalt production enterprises, highway and bridge construction units, and relevant colleges, universities, and research institutions.

This instrument adopts technologies such as microcomputer intelligent control, laser automatic detection, LCD touch screen human-machine interface, screw stepper motor lifting, etc. It has the characteristics of linear heating, uniform stirring of bath solution, and automatic completion of sample detection. It is a highly automated, fast and convenient testing instrument for determining the softening point of asphalt, with accurate and reliable test results.

Instrument function principle: The automatic asphalt softening point tester heats the solution medium and asphalt through a heating tube, and stirs the beaker with a magnetic stirrer to make the temperature uniform. The controller uses interpolation algorithm to control the output, making the medium rise linearly at 5 ℃/min. The asphalt in the test ring begins to slowly soften during the heating process. When it reaches the softening temperature point, the asphalt in the sample ring slowly drops in a droplet shape under the gravity of the steel ball. The average temperature when the asphalt in the two sample rings drops and comes into contact with the lower baffle is the asphalt softening point temperature.
