SH417 High temperature and high shear tester
The SH417 High Temperature and High Shear Tester is a petroleum product testing instrument manufactured strictly in accordance with the technical requirements of the standard test method for measuring apparent viscosity under high temperature and high shear rate using a multiple capillary viscometer according to ASTM D5481. It is suitable for measuring the apparent viscosity of lubricating oil under high temperature and high shear rate, that is, the high-temperature and high shear dynamic viscosity measurement of lubricating oil, and the HTHS index. It is also applicable to the SHT 0703-2001 method for determining the apparent viscosity of lubricating oil under high temperature and high shear rate conditions (multiple capillary viscometer method) to determine the dynamic viscosity of lubricating oil under high temperature and high shear rate conditions, as well as the high temperature and high shear characteristics of lubricating oil.
Testing Principles
It is under the test conditions of 150 ℃± 0.1 ℃, under the pressure of nitrogen (carbon dioxide), to make the sample flow out of the capillary viscometer. Based on the flow time and pressure of the sample, the apparent shear rate of the capillary viscometer can reach a certain apparent viscosity, and the viscosity of the oil corresponding to the measured pressure can be obtained by using the curves corrected by each viscometer cell.

● The experimental data is stored on a computer and can be printed or exported from a USB drive.
● Made of all aluminum material, clean and beautiful, compact in size.
● A large touch LCD screen can visually display all the parameters, temperature, flow changes, and other information of the experiment.
● The software automatically recommends test pressure, and the test results can be generated in Excel
