Product Description

SH101C Automatic mechanical impurity meter

SH101C Automatic Mechanical Impurity Content Tester (with balance) is designed in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB/T511 "Petroleum Products and Additives - Determination of Mechanical Impurities (Gravimetric Method)". It is suitable for determining the content of mechanical impurities in various light and heavy oils, lubricating oils, and additives in petroleum products. The balance is connected to a fully automatic mechanical impurity content meter, and the weighing data is automatically imported into the instrument to automatically calculate the measurement results.

Method Summary

Weigh a certain amount of sample and dissolve it in the solvent used, and filter it with constant weight filter paper or microporous glass filter. The impurities left on the filter paper or microporous glass filter are mechanical impurities

Executive standard: GB/T 511-2010 Petroleum and Petroleum Products and Additives - Determination of Mechanical Impurities

Instrument characteristics:

● Built-in oil-free and maintenance-free vacuum pump, dual solvent oil preheating system, one instrument host to complete all functions, without the need for external vacuum pumps and water baths.

● 7 inch TFT true color touch screen with a resolution of 800 × 480, human-computer interaction is simple and easy to use.

● Adopt built-in oil-free and maintenance-free vacuum pump, and program controlled dual suction filtration.

● 4 PID temperature control, precise control of solvent oil preheating temperature and insulation funnel temperature.

● Built-in formula, automatically calculating test results, and saving and printing data.

● With automatic data query function, it is convenient to find test records and statistical data, and can print the results at any time.

Operation method:

Add the mixed sample to the beaker and weigh it according to the requirements of Table 1 of GB/T 511-2010, and dilute it proportionally with heating solvent. Place a constant weight filter paper in a glass funnel. Filter the sample solution while it is hot. The solution flows into a funnel along a glass rod, and the height of the solution during filtration should not exceed three quarters of the height of the filter paper. The residue on the beaker is rinsed with hot solvent oil and then poured into the filter paper. The sample residue and solid impurities adhered to the beaker wall should be loosened with a glass rod, and washed onto the filter paper or microporous glass filter with heated solvent oil. Rinse the beaker repeatedly until the solution is dropped onto the filter paper and no oil stains remain after evaporation.

If the sample has a relatively low water content and is difficult to filter, allow the sample solution to stand still for 10 to 20 minutes, then carefully pour the solvent oil solution on the upper layer of the sediment in the beaker into a funnel, and then filter. The residue in the beaker should be thoroughly washed into the filter paper using EtOH-Et₂O and hot solvent oil.

When measuring samples that are difficult to filter, you can use reduced pressure suction filtration and open a funnel to heat the bath jacket.

After filtration, clean the filter paper with sediment using a washing bottle filled with solvent oil not exceeding 40 ℃ until there are no traces of the sample left on the filter paper and the filtered solvent is completely transparent and colorless.

When determining the mechanical impurities of petroleum, additives, and lubricating oils with additives, it is allowed to use hot distilled water to wash the residue. After washing the filter paper with sediment with solvent, dry it in air for 10-15min, and then wash it with 200mL~300mL distilled water heated to 80 ℃.

After washing the filter paper with sediment, put the filter paper with sediment into the corresponding weighing bottle before filtering, and dry the open weighing bottle in an oven at 105 ℃± 2 ℃ for not less than 45 minutes. Then place it in a dryer to cool for 30 minutes (the cap of the weighing bottle should be closed), and weigh it accurately to 0.0002g. Repeat the drying (the second drying only takes 30 minutes) and weighing operations until the difference between two consecutive weighing operations does not exceed 0.0004 g.

7. The mechanical impurity content% (mass fraction) of the sample is calculated using the following formula:

Automatic Mechanical Impurity Meter RT - 100℃ Lube Oil Gravimetric Method GB/T 511 1

m1---- Quality of filter paper and weighing bottle(g)

m2---- Quality of filter paper and weighing bottle with mechanical impurities(g)

m3---- Blank test Quality of filter paper and weighing bottle before filtration(g)

m4---- Mass of filter paper and weighing bottle after filtration in blank test(g)

m ---- Mass of sample(g)

8. All the solvent preheating parts mentioned above can be preheated using a beaker heating bath jacket, and the temperature can be arbitrarily set between room temperature and 85 ℃. All of the above weighing operations can be automatically weighed using an electronic balance connected to the instrument. After weighing each weight value, click Calculate. The instrument will automatically complete the calculation process and automatically save it. If Auto Print is selected, the test results will also be printed.
