2 Method Overview
At the required constant temperature, the time it takes for a certain volume of oil sample to flow through a calibrated capillary viscometer under the action of gravity is measured. The product of the capillary viscometer constant and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the oil sample measured at this temperature.
3 Testing Equipment
Main testing equipment: SH112H automatic countercurrent motion viscometer.
Residual fuel and waxy products whose viscosity is affected by the preheating process should be carried out as follows.
1.1 Place the sample in the container in the oven at 60±2. Heating lh
Note: For oil with high viscosity, the heating temperature can be appropriately raised to make the sample completely mixed, but not to exceed the test temperature.
1.2 Stir the sample thoroughly with a long glass rod until no sediment or wax sticks to the rod.
1.3 Cover the container tightly again, and shake it violently to fully mix, and pour the sample into a 100mL beaker.
Note: If the sample contains solid particles, it should be filtered through ~ 200 mesh (75um) filters
2 Before measuring the viscosity, the viscometer can be automatically cleaned and dried with solvent oil through the instrument.
3. Selection of constant temperature medium: 100℃ kinematic viscosity tester should choose low viscosity high flash point transparent base oil such as 150N; 50℃ 80℃ kinematic viscosity tester should choose pure water and glycol or glycerol mixture. Keep the liquid level about 5 cm from the top of the bathtub.
1. After the instrument is turned on, click parameter Setting to complete the required parameter setting, and then put the Cannonfinsk viscosity tube into the special fixture for the viscosity tube equipped with the host machine. The optical fiber detection sensor is respectively stuck at the three points B.C.D of the viscometer.
2. After setting the constant temperature, start the constant temperature. After reaching the expected constant temperature, use the sampler equipped with the main engine to inject a certain amount of samples into the equipped Cannonfinsk viscosity tube. (Expected to be about 10-15ml)
3. Click no. 1 and No. 2 in the test interface, the instrument began to keep constant temperature samples and automatically measure the viscosity of the sample, automatic measurement automatic judgment automatic waste discharge automatic cleaning and drying, automatic printing data.
