ST116 crude fiber analyzer is an instrument that digests samples using the commonly employed acid-alkali digestion method and determines the crude fiber content by weight measurement.

Using accurately measured concentrations of acid and alkali, the sample is digested under specific conditions. Soluble substances are then removed with ethanol, and the amount of minerals is deducted after high-temperature incineration, yielding the crude fiber content. This is not a precise chemical entity but rather a roughly measured component under internationally recognized and mandatory conditions, primarily consisting of cellulose with small amounts of hemicellulose and lignin.

Suitable for the determination of crude fiber content in various grains, feed, etc., with test results complying with the national standards GB/T 5515 and GB/T 6434.
