SH3554 Petroleum Wax Oil Content Analyzer is designed in accordance with the Chinese national standard GB/T 3554 "Method for Determination of Oil Content in Petroleum Wax."

Petroleum wax: Applicable for determining the oil content in petroleum wax with a freezing point above 30°C and an oil content not exceeding 15%. Dissolve the sample in butanone, cool to -32°C, precipitate the wax, filter, and evaporate the butanone from the filtrate. Weigh the residual oil and calculate the oil content of the wax. For certain waxes with an oil content greater than 5%, if the oil does not dissolve completely in butanone and separates into layers, this method should not be used.

Main Structure and Features

Main Structure: This instrument primarily consists of a digital temperature controller, a digital timer, a stainless steel bath, a compressor, an air flow meter, and other components, forming a water bath from room temperature to 95°C, a cold bath from room temperature to -40°C, and an evaporation bath at 35°C.

Instrument Features

● The design device integrates a 95°C water bath (also known as a hot bath) and a -40°C cold bath, with the water bath on the left side and the cold bath on the right side of the instrument. Each bath has four holes, allowing for grouped testing of samples.

● The temperature regulation and control for water bath, cold bath, and evaporation bath are all achieved using a digital display temperature controller, ensuring accurate and intuitive temperature adjustment.

● The air volume blown into the sample in the evaporation device is measured by a glass rotameter, allowing precise control of the airflow according to specific test requirements. The blowing duration can be freely set by a timer based on the test time requirements.
