SH0545 Automatic Crude Oil Wax Appearance Temperature Determination Instrument is strictly designed and manufactured in accordance with the SY/T 0545 standard for crude oil wax appearance thermal characteristics. It features touchscreen control, automatic judgment, and automatic computer curve analysis.

Wax precipitation point

The temperature at which wax crystals initially begin to precipitate from the liquid crude oil system, i.e., the starting temperature corresponding to the point where the sample curve deviates from the baseline and forms an exothermic peak, is denoted as Tc.

Heat the crude oil sample to a temperature above the wax appearance point, then cool it at a certain rate, recording the differential heat flow between the sample and the reference material at each temperature point. Plot the crude oil wax appearance curve with differential heat flow as the vertical axis and temperature as the horizontal axis.
