SH416 Automatic Engine Oil Boundary Pumping Temp Viscosity

SH416 Fully Automatic Boundary Pumping Apparent Viscosity Meter is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard of the People's Republic of China, "GB/T 9171-1988 Determination of Boundary Pumping Temperature of Engine Oil" and SH/T 0562, while also meeting the petrochemical industry standards ASTM D3829 and ASTM D4684. It is an instrument used to determine the boundary pumping temperature, (low-temperature) yield stress, and apparent viscosity of motor vehicle engine oil. The test temperature control range is wide, spanning from -5°C to -40°C. The entire testing process is automatically controlled by a computer.
The specimen was cooled from 80°C to the experimental temperature at a nonlinear cooling rate within 10 hours, held at a constant temperature for 16 hours, then subjected to a loading torque on a rotational viscometer. The rotational speed was observed and measured, and the yield stress and apparent viscosity at that temperature were calculated. The boundary pumping temperature of the sample was determined based on three or more measurements.

● Improved pulley assembly, enhancing the stability and sensitivity of the pulley, with photoelectric sensor testing
● The instrument viscometer cell includes a numbered 9-hole viscometer in a temperature-controlled aluminum block, a heater, a temperature sensor, and a photoelectric encoder. The temperature of the viscometer cell is automatically controlled by the program-controlled instrument according to the curve selected by the user. The entire system performs stably, with performance better than ±0.1°C in temperature control segments requiring ±0.2°C, and automatically prints the data upon completion of the experiment.
