SD-2801C Constant temperature cone penetration tester

The SD2801C constant temperature cone penetration tester is designed and manufactured according to the technical requirements and relevant regulations of the Chinese standard GB/T 269 "Determination of Cone Penetration of Lubricating Greases and Stone Greases". It is mainly suitable for testing the cone penetration of lubricating grease, petroleum grease, and other oils. Meets the technical requirements of GB/T 4509 "Determination of Penetration of Asphalt" and is suitable for testing the penetration of asphalt and lubricating grease (or stone grease).

Cone penetration refers to the depth to which a standard cone (usually carrying a total weight of 150 grams, but with a specified weight of 100 grams) sinks into a lubricating grease sample insulated at 25 ℃ within 5 seconds. The unit is 1/10 millimeter. The greater the penetration, the softer the lubricating grease, that is, the lower the viscosity; On the contrary, it indicates that the lubricating grease is harder, that is, the viscosity is higher. The penetration test of asphalt does not use a standard cone, but a standard pointed needle with a total load of 100 grams.
