ST217A Automatic drug relative density meter

The ST217A automatic drug relative density meter is designed and manufactured based on the oscillation type density meter method in the third method of the 2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia 0601 relative density determination method. The oscillation type density meter mainly consists of a U-shaped oscillation tube (usually made of glass material, used to place samples), an electromagnetic excitation system (causing the oscillation tube to oscillate), a frequency meter (used to determine the oscillation period), and a temperature control system

The principle of measuring liquid density with U-shaped oscillating tube

The vibration tube method is used to measure the density of substances. The vibration frequency of the substance is related to the density. The actual density of the substance is calculated through the frequency difference between the measured substance and the reference standard substance. The vibration tube method is adopted with high measurement accuracy.

Performance characteristics

● Constant temperature control: because the liquid density is greatly affected by temperature, the liquid density measured at real-time temperature shall be converted into the liquid density at 20 ℃. The instrument is controlled by a constant temperature bath. The sensor, its components and sample liquid are sealed in the constant temperature bath. The temperature of the vibration tube (sample liquid) is measured by the temperature sensor, and the electronic components are controlled by the single chip microcomputer to refrigerate or heat, so as to ensure that the temperature in the constant temperature bath is stable within 20 ℃ ± 0.1 ℃. This not only solves the trouble and error caused by conversion, but also ensures the measurement accuracy, stability and reproducibility of the instrument (the constant temperature value can be customized according to the user's requirements)

● The density value of the liquid at 20 ℃ shall be displayed directly, and the temperature shall be displayed: the vibration frequency of the sensor shall be detected by the single chip microcomputer, the density value of the liquid shall be calculated by using the mathematical model of the relationship between the frequency of the sensor and the density of the liquid, and then the floating point operation shall be carried out, so that no additional error will be caused due to the insufficient number of operation digits in the operation process, and the accuracy of the measurement results shall be guaranteed. The density value calculated by the single chip microcomputer is displayed by five digits, and there is a temperature display window.

● Automatic sampling: Using a microcontroller to control a stepper motor to drive a peristaltic pump for sample suction, the automation level of the product is improved

● Acid and alkali resistant pipelines: The pipelines that come into direct contact with liquids are all imported acid and alkali resistant pipelines to ensure that the instrument can measure acid and alkali solutions.

● Data storage and transmission: Equipped with a built-in storage chip, it can store 80 sets of detection data and can be recalled and deleted.

● Calibration function: When the instrument is not used for a long time, drift will occur. This instrument can be calibrated using 20 ℃ pure water as a standard, which is a function that glass density meters cannot achieve.
