summary:
The powder density refers to the mass corresponding to the unit volume of powder. Due to the existence of gaps (or pores) between particles or within particles in the powder, the density of the powder is usually less than the true density of the corresponding material. The powder density can be divided into bulk density (also known as bulk density) and vibrated density according to the different testing methods. The bulk density refers to the powder sample in a loose state, evenly and continuously filled with a measuring cup with a known volume. The bulk density of the powder sample can be calculated by weighing the weight of the measuring cup and the powder sample. The vibrated density refers to the density of the powder in the container after being vibrated under the specified conditions.

It is a powder density test instrument independently developed and manufactured according to the national standard gb/t21354-2008 general method for determination of tap density of powder products, gb/t5162-2020 determination of tap density of metal powders, iso3953:1993 determination of tap density of metal powders, and with reference to the United States Pharmacopoeia, and has independent intellectual property rights. The instrument includes all indicators in the national standard gb/t 5162-2020/iso3953:1993. For non-metallic powders, the powder density tester has extended some functions, such as: "vibration amplitude" is extended from 3mm specified in the national standard to 1mm ~ 15mm integer adjustable; . The "number of vibrations" is arbitrarily set from 3000 times to 0 ~ 99999 times as specified in the national standard (Note: when set to 0 times, the result output is "loose density").
