SH106BR Fully automatic open flash point and ignition point tester
The SH106BR fully automatic open flash point and ignition point tester is designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in the Chinese standards GB/T 3536 "Determination of Flash Point and Ignition Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Method)" ASTMD92 and GB/T267-1988, ASTMD92 "Determination of Flash Point and Ignition Point of Petroleum Products (Open Cup Method)", and MT/T1203-2023 "Safety Testing and Inspection Specification for Air Compressors in Coal Mines" for lubricating oil open flash point of air compressors.
Open flash point testers are commonly used for lubricating oils and heavy petroleum products, as the vapor formed by the heated petroleum products continuously diffuses into the surrounding air, resulting in a higher measured flash point. For most lubricating oils and heavy oils, especially when used in non sealed parts or under low temperature conditions, even a small amount of lightweight additives will evaporate during use, without posing a risk of fire or explosion. Therefore, these products are measured using an open flash point tester.
