SH101C Fully automatic mechanical impurity content analyzer (with balance)
The SH101C automatic mechanical impurity content analyzer (with balance) is designed according to the requirements of the national standard GB/T511 "Determination of Mechanical Impurities in Petroleum Products and Additives (Weight Method)", and is suitable for determining the content of mechanical impurities in various light and heavy oils, lubricants, and additives in petroleum products. The balance is connected to the fully automatic mechanical impurity analyzer, and the weighing data is automatically imported into the instrument to automatically calculate the measurement results.
Method Summary
Weigh a certain amount of sample and dissolve it in the solvent used. Filter it through a constant weight filter paper or microporous glass filter. Impurities left on the filter paper or microporous glass filter are called mechanical impurities
Execution standard: GB/T 511-2010 "Petroleum and petroleum products and additives - Determination of mechanical impurities"

Operation method:
According to the requirements of Table 1 of GB/T 511-2010, add the mixed sample into a beaker and weigh it, then dilute it proportionally with a heated solvent. Place the filter paper with a constant weight in a glass funnel. Filter the sample solution while it is hot. The solution flows into the funnel along the glass rod, and during filtration, the height of the solution should not exceed three-quarters of the filter paper. The residue on the beaker should be washed with hot solvent oil and poured into filter paper. The sample residue and solid impurities adhering to the beaker wall should be loosened with a glass rod and washed onto the filter paper or microporous glass filter with heated solvent oil. Rinse the beaker repeatedly until the solution drops onto the filter paper and evaporates without leaving any oil stains.
If the sample contains a lot of water and is difficult to filter, let the sample solution stand still for 10-20 minutes, then carefully pour the solvent oil solution on top of the sediment in the beaker into the funnel and filter it again. The residue in the beaker should be thoroughly washed into the filter paper with a mixture of ethanol solvent and hot solvent oil.
When measuring samples that are difficult to filter, vacuum suction filtration can be used and a funnel heating bath can be opened.
After filtration, clean the filter paper with sediment using a washing bottle containing solvent oil at a temperature not exceeding 40 ℃ until there are no more sample traces left on the filter paper and the filtered solvent is completely transparent and colorless.
When measuring mechanical impurities in petroleum, additives, and lubricants with additives, it is allowed to rinse the residue with hot distilled water. After rinsing the filter paper with a solvent containing sediment, dry it in air for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse it with 200mL~300mL of distilled water heated to 80 ℃.
After washing the filter paper with sediment, place the filter paper with sediment into the corresponding weighing bottle before filtration, and dry the open weighing bottle in an oven at 105 ℃± 2 ℃ for no less than 45 minutes. Then cool it in a dryer for 30 minutes (the cap of the weighing bottle should be covered), weigh it accurately to 0.0002g. Repeat the drying (the second drying only takes 30 minutes) and weighing operations until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 0.0004g.
The mechanical impurity content ω% (mass fraction) of the sample is calculated according to the following formula:
In the formula:
● M1- Mass of filter paper and weighing bottle (g)
● M2- Mass of filter paper and weighing bottle with mechanical impurities (g)
● M3- Mass of filter paper and weighing bottle before blank test filtration (g)
● M4- Mass of filter paper and weighing bottle after blank test filtration (g)
● M - Mass of the sample (g)
All the solvent preheating parts mentioned above can be preheated using a beaker heating bath cover, and the temperature can be set arbitrarily between room temperature and 85 ℃. All the above weighing operations can be automatically weighed using an electronic balance connected to the instrument. After weighing each weight value, click on 'Calculate', and the instrument will automatically complete the calculation process and save it. If 'Auto Print' is selected, the test results will also be printed.
