SD265C Petroleum Kinematic Viscometer (Heavy Oil Counterflow Method)
The manufacturing of SD265C petroleum countercurrent viscosity tester complies with the requirements specified in the industry standard SY/T5561 "Technical Conditions for Petroleum Product Kinematic Viscosity Tester" of the People's Republic of China, and is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (referring to Newtonian liquids) under a constant temperature condition according to the provisions of the Chinese standard GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity of Petroleum Products".
Method Summary
Measure the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer (counter current viscometer) under the action of gravity to determine the kinematic viscosity of dark petroleum products. The dynamic viscosity of a liquid can be obtained by multiplying the measured kinematic viscosity with its density.
