ST217B automatic medication relative density meter (touch screen) is designed and manufactured based on the third method of oscillating density meter in the 2020 Chinese Pharmacopoeia 0601 relative density measurement method. The oscillating density meter mainly consists of a U-shaped oscillating tube (usually made of glass material, used to place samples), an electromagnetic excitation system (to make the oscillating tube oscillate), a frequency meter (used to determine the oscillation period), and a temperature control system.

Testing principle

Inject a small amount of sample into a temperature controlled sample tube, record the vibration frequency or period, and calculate the density of the sample using the previously obtained sample tube constant. The constant of the sample tube is determined by the vibration frequency of the sample tube when it is filled with a known density calibration solution. The instrument will directly display the density value after injecting the sample into the sample tube.

● Built-in sample injection pump for automatic sample injection, rinsing, and drying of the measurement cell

● High-definition video camera technology for convenient direct observation and measurement of the pool

● The operation procedure can be performed manually or automatically. Manual operation takes 1 to 4 minutes, while the automatic program lasts 2 to 10 minutes (specific duration depends on the actual temperature of the sample)

● Automatic Sampling: Utilizes a microcontroller-controlled stepper motor to drive the peristaltic pump for sample collection, enhancing the product's automation level

● Acid and alkali-resistant pipelines: All pipelines in direct contact with liquids are imported acid and alkali-resistant pipes, ensuring the instrument can measure acidic and alkaline solutions

● High-definition video imaging technology for convenient direct observation and measurement of the pool

● 100 sets of test values are automatically saved, with the ability to automatically calculate the average, maximum, and minimum values

● Calibration function: When the instrument is not used for a long time, drift may occur. This instrument can use pure water at 20°C as a standard for calibration, a feature unattainable with a glass hydrometer.
