ST206 Fully Automatic Distillation Apparatus

ST206 fully automatic distillation range instrument features a color LCD display screen with a Chinese menu for human-machine interaction and guided operation, enabling fully automated measurement processes. Designed in accordance with the requirements of the 2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia General Rule 0611 for Distillation Range Determination, the distillation range refers to the temperature range obtained by distilling a liquid under the specified method, corrected to standard atmospheric pressure [101.3 kPa (760 mmHg)], starting from the fifth drop of distillate, until the test sample has only 3-4 ml or a certain proportion of volume distilled.
Certain pharmaceutical excipients or drugs have a specific distillation range, and measuring this range can distinguish or check the purity and impurity levels of the drugs. The system features an embedded computer with a large-screen LCD touchscreen and a user-friendly human-machine interface, making experimental operations convenient. Utilizing microcontroller and intelligent control technology, the entire distillation process—including heating and cooling, distillate liquid level tracking, distillation rate control, recovered liquid volume control, temperature recording, and test result printing—is fully automated.

● Liquid Level Tracking: The system consists of a high-precision stepping American linear motor and an imported photoelectric tracker
● Automatic Completion: The entire distillation process, including heating and cooling, distillate level tracking, distillation rate control, recovered liquid volume control, temperature recording, and test result printing, is fully automated
● Distillation Electric Furnace: The heating is automatically controlled to maintain the sample flow rate between 2 to 3 ml per minute from the initial boiling point to 95%
● Data Determination: Can provide the initial boiling point temperature and the final boiling point temperature, as well as the temperature and flow rate at each percentage point
● Atmospheric pressure: Automatically detects the local atmospheric pressure and adjusts the temperature to that at standard atmospheric pressure
● Test conditions: The test can be stopped by selecting either steam temperature or recovery volume
● Experimental Results: Storage, query, and print test results, data can be exported via USB
● Cooling medium: Internal cooling circulation, coolant inspection and replenishment required every 3 years.
