ST204S Automatic Kinematic Viscometer
Standard: ChP 0633 USP 911 ASTM D445
ST204S Automatic Kinematic Viscosimeter is designed and manufactured in accordance with the method specified in General Rule 0633 of the 2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia. This method employs a relative approach to measure the time required for a fixed volume of liquid to flow through a capillary tube under gravity, thereby determining the kinematic viscosity of the fluid.
It can simultaneously accommodate four viscometers for experiments, featuring a large-color LCD screen with Chinese display and no-label buttons. Temperature measurement employs a precision platinum resistance PT100, allowing arbitrary setting from 15 to 200°C. It supports power-off memory storage of capillary constants, automatically calculates viscosity values, and complies with ASTM D445 standards
Kinematic viscosity: At a constant temperature, the gravitational flow of a specific volume of model is determined through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer. The constant of the capillary viscometer varies with time, and the kinematic viscosity of the product is used to measure the viscosity of liquids
Instrument features:
● The constant temperature bath is a round glass tank with uniform temperature distribution inside and excellent temperature control
● This instrument employs a precision digital temperature controller to regulate the temperature within the bath, with solid-state relays (SSRs) serving as the actuating components. It features accurate temperature control, contactless operation, silent performance, spark-free operation, rapid response, and long service life.
● The capillary gauge features a three-point vertical design, offering flexible and convenient operation with reliable clamping.
● The viscosity tube can be selected as either the Ubbelohde or Ostwald tube based on requirements.
● Equipped with USB input functionality, it can output data to a PC for long-term storage.
● Storage Method: Experimental results can store 199 sets of historical data for easy retrieval;
● Output Format: The result USB flash drive output format is CSV or Excel.
