Engine oil is also called engine oil. Engine oil is divided into gasoline engine oil and diesel engine oil, which are applicable to gasoline engine and diesel engine respectively. Engine oil also cools and cleans the engine. Engine oil consists of base oil and additives.
The low temperature dynamic viscosity of lubricating oil is determined by cold start simulation experiment (CCS). CCS simulates the working condition of the engine cylinder liner - piston part cold start, and has a good correlation with the cold start of the engine. Therefore, the low temperature dynamic viscosity can be used as a viscosity index to predict whether the engine can start smoothly under low temperature conditions.
At the same low temperature, the smaller the viscosity value measured, the better the cold start performance of the oil.
The requirements for low temperature dynamic viscosity of SE.SFQ gasoline engine oil with different viscosity grades are shown in the figure in GB11121-2016 Gasoline Engine Oil by adopting the test method of GB/T6538:
SH110 Automatic Apparent Viscometer (CCS) conforms to GB/T6538-2010, ASTM D5293 and other technical specifications; It is applicable to test the low-temperature dynamic viscosity index of engine oil. The instrument can measure the apparent viscosity of oil products at - 35 ℃ to - 5 ℃ with an interval of 5 ℃. It has the advantages of accurate measurement, good repeatability, stable performance and simple operation.
It is suitable for measuring the apparent viscosity of engine oil at - 5~- 35 ℃ under the condition that the shear stress is about 500~20000 mPa. s and the shear rate is 105~104 S-1. The instrument adopts fully automatic temperature control equipment, and users can conduct test and analysis conveniently and quickly only by operating on the color touch screen.
