What are the applications of the thermal cracking oil obtained from the thermal cracking of waste tires?
Pyrolytic oil of waste tire is directly burned as fuel. Since pyrolytic oil is a wide range oil, it is cut into light fraction, medium fraction and heavy fraction after distillation. Different processing schemes can be determined according to the characteristics of each fraction, thus improving the value of pyrolytic oil of waste tire.
1) Light fraction (initial distillation point ~204 C)
The light fraction can be hydrotreated, the sulfur and oxygen in the fraction are removed, aromatics and limonene are proposed, and then further refined to obtain a chemical product BTX and limonene.
Limonene can be used to clean circuit board. If it can be used reasonably, the added value of waste tire pyrolysis oil can be increased reasonably.
2) Medium distillate (204~350 C)
The medium distillate can be used as the blending component of low condensate diesel oil after hydrotreating.
3) Heavy fraction (>
Heavy fractions can be used as fuel oil for diesel generators, engines, heavy machinery, boiler heating, etc.
In addition, asphalt can be obtained as a product.
Bitumen can be used to pave roads or sent to asphalt plants for refining.
