What are the applications of hot cracking oil obtained from thermal cracking of waste tires?
Waste tire pyrolysis oil is directly burned as fuel. Because the pyrolysis oil is a wide range oil, it is cut into light fraction, medium fraction and heavy fraction after distillation. Different processing schemes can be determined according to the characteristics of each fraction, so that the value of waste tire pyrolysis oil can be improved.
1) Light fraction (initial distillation point ~204 C)
The light fraction can be hydrorefined to remove sulfur and oxygen in the fraction to extract aromatics and limonene, and then further refined to obtain chemical products BTX and limonene. Limonene is used to clean circuit board. If it can be reasonably used, the added value of waste tire pyrolysis oil can be reasonably improved.
2) Intermediate fraction (204~350 C)
The middle fraction can be used as the blending component of low freezing point diesel oil after hydrotreating.
3) Heavy fractions (& GT; 350 C)
Heavy fractions can be used as fuel oil for diesel generators, engines, heavy machinery, boiler heating, etc. Asphalt can also be obtained in addition to this product. Asphalt can be used to pave roads, or it can be sent to asphalt plants for refining.
