The relation between the selection of grease and the degree of coning

When selecting a grease, the size of the grease taper should be considered.
When the mechanical friction surface load is large, should use a small degree of lubricating grease, otherwise it will not be able to support the load and be extruded;
If the friction surface load is very small, should use a large degree of lubricating grease, otherwise it is not easy to form a complete oil film, or friction resistance is too large, loss of power, and easy to cause overheating parts.
Usually no. 2, no. 3 and No. 4 greases are suitable for ordinary machinery due to their hardness and softness.
SD2801C thermostatic needle entry meter is designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations in GB/T269 of the People's Republic of China standard "Determination of Coning Degree of Lubricating Greases and Petroleum Greases" and GB/T4509. It is mainly applicable to the test of needle entry degree of asphalt and grease (or petroleum grease).
This instrument can also be used for the inspection of solid fine grain, powder, colloid, jelly and other materials, as well as food raw materials such as cheese, sugar gum, butter, wheat gluten, cream and fermentation, etc. It can be widely used in food industry, traffic highway engineering and other industrial sectors.
