Significance of Needle Penetration measurement of Potting Glue (Automatic Method)
Pavement potting glue, specially used for road crack repair, is called pavement heated sealant (JT/T 740-2015) in the industry standard, and its main substrate is heavy road petroleum asphalt.
There are some differences between the three indexes of penetration, elongation and softening point of pavement pot-sealing sealant and road petroleum asphalt. The technical indexes of evaluation of pavement pot-sealing sealant are five indexes: conical penetration, softening point, flow value, elastic recovery rate and low temperature tensile.
Cone penetration
