The instrument is mainly composed of glass ware, temperature control heating device, pump (built-in) and so on. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, convenient installation and use, flexible and fast heating. In particular, the temperature control funnel designed according to GB/T 511 standard has a unique style, which has the advantages of shortening operation time and saving solvent.

Main structure of the instrument.

1. Suction bottle: used for receiving filtrate.

2, glass funnel: with filter paper for sample filtration.

3. Controller: the temperature control of beaker and funnel is controlled by special temperature control meter, which makes the temperature control system more stable.

① Sample processing and preparation

1, the sample installed in the glass bottle (not more than three quarters of the bottle volume), shake for 5min, so that the mixture is uniform. Paraffin wax and viscous petroleum products should be pre-heated to 40~80 deG C, lubricating oil additives heated to 70~80 DEG C, and then with a glass rod carefully stirred for 5min.

2. The open weighing bottle with filter paper is placed in the oven, dried at 105℃±2℃ for no less than 45 min, and then cooled in the dryer for 30 min(the cap of weighing bottle should be covered), weighed and weighed to 0.0002g. Repeat drying (the second drying time only 30 min) and weighing, until the difference between two consecutive weighing does not exceed 0.0004 g.
